Storyline & Plot Overview

In an industry overflowing with talent, Kisaragi Reina is nothing more than an anonymous grain of sand. The long, weary days of waiting for work amidst public indifference are driving her to the brink of madness. Why do her colleagues shine so brightly while she remains in the shadows? What is that gap? Is it talent, beauty, or some “hidden rule” she has yet to encounter?

Unable to suppress her burning resentment and wounded pride, Reina directly confronts a veteran, cunning producer. His response to her fervor is merely a cold, indifferent gaze and a trap-laden proposition:

“I will open a door for you. Whether you can walk through it and survive is entirely up to you.”

Despite her suspicions, Reina accepts the gamble. Clad in provocative attire and standing before powerful men whose eyes “devour” her body, she begins to taste the exorbitant price of fame.

What must an idol do to truly “exist”? To protect her faith in the path she has chosen, Reina is prepared to set herself on fire. Does she have the courage to offer up everything, turning herself into a pawn in a power game, or will she be crushed under the heels of those who hold the reins?
