A fresh professional opportunity emerges when a close confidante invites him to join the staff at a local, high-traffic comic book cafe. Despite severe hesitations, Keiichi accepts the position, determined to reset his fortune.

However, his ingrained pattern is already waiting at the doorstep. On his very first day, he crosses paths with Rei Suzukawa—a strikingly charming new colleague, and Kururu Hiiragi—his gorgeous, long-standing childhood friend.
