Storyline & Plot Overview

When Kanzaki receives a letter from Mari Setogaya asking to meet in the school gym’s equipment room during lunch break, he believes he is about to receive a love confession. He arrives filled with anticipation, only to be attacked by his ‘secret admirer.’ The beautiful girl attempts to knock him unconscious, but after failing miserably, she is forced to explain that she is a vampire and intends to ‘prey’ on him. Feeling pity for her desperate situation, Kanzaki reluctantly gives in and allows her to drink his blood.

As it turns out, Mari cannot stand the taste of fresh blood, yet she will fade away without the nutrients it provides. Kanzaki quickly finds a solution, suggesting she consume a different kind of bodily fluid—and immediately, Setagaya falls head over heels for this new flavor. The two soon begin regular ‘dates,’ and over time, their relationship evolves into something much deeper than just casual ‘meals’ shared together.
